InDex® NearLine

InDex® NearLine offers the same features andservice capabilities of InDex OnLine, but is designed for facilities that have already invested in a Storage Area Network (SAN) or Network Attached Storage (NAS) system for storing medical images and other data for the short term.

InDex NearLine is the solution of choice for PACS-using institutions that want to manage their own on-site storage but still benefit from the added flexibility and protection of an off-sitemanaged archive.

InDex NearLine manages the archiving and retrieval of images stored on a client-owned online SAN or NAS. The archiving and distribution of all medical images stored on the SAN or NAS are integrated with the InSiteOne offsite
and nearline accessible on spinning disk and DVD jukeboxes located in mirrored data centers that provide permanent storage of all studies.
